Preventative-maintenance counts reset each year, and services run at a minimum interval of 2,000 APU hours. Max needs a fleet of at least 25 trucks; Ultra needs 50. Extra one-off preventative maintenances are $695 each on any plan. Tractor Attendant covers fluid-level checks; fluid added to top off a low system is billed separately.
Most of a plan’s cost comes back in fuel, tires, and avoided breakdowns.
We take routine preventative maintenance out of your shop, so your mechanics stay on the repairs that need a bay.
Eco Mudflaps on Max and Ultra cut drag, worth roughly $60 a month per truck at the pump. On-interval oil changes trim about 1% off the APU’s fuel use on every plan, and seasonal oil weights on Max and Ultra add about 1% more.
You don’t track intervals or chase appointments. We schedule every visit and bring the work to your yard.
Trucks running a Neon controller queue themselves for service based on engine hours. For the rest, you tell us hours and interval once and we track it from there.
Tire pressure checks and treadwear reports catch uneven wear early. Figure about $1,000 a year per truck on Ultra’s weekly visits, and about $250 on Max’s monthly ones.
Every preventative maintenance uses AMSOIL® Signature Series Max-Duty full-synthetic oil. It holds up longer between changes and protects the engine better than conventional oil.

Neon’s Self-Teaching Computer saves 400+ gallons of fuel a year per truck, and its cost and savings are in the math. Thermo King’s schedule calls for service every 2,000 APU hours, about once a year with Neon.
For TriPac units Neon can’t plug into. Without Neon they hit 2,000 hours about every 6 months.

Shop-labor savings value preventative-maintenance hours at the hourly rate you enter, and PM supply savings assume about $250 in oil, filters, and consumables per APU preventative maintenance, on the basis that your shop would otherwise perform this work. Calculator APU runtime is assumed at 10 hours per weekday plus 34 hours per weekend at 0.2 gallons per hour.
